The first time the Promoters met was in 1989, at a meeting convened by the Highland Council. The meeting brought people together ‘with the dual aims of assisting companies wishing to tour within the Highlands land mass and improving the coordination and accessibility of touring product available to a variety of promoters in rural areas’.
